When you invite the Stanmark crew in paint you house, you can rest assured that we will take care of your home as if it was our own.
Protection
- We will help you move your furniture out of the way.
- Floor and furniture will be protected with drop sheets and poly.
Ceilings
- Water stains are sealed with a stain-blocking primer.
- Missing texture on ceilings can be re-stippled with spray.
- Flat latex paint is typically used to coat the ceilings.
Preparation
- Before painting, all surfaces are sanded to remove any roughness and to increase adhesion of paint.
First Coat
- Once everything is ready, we will brush and roll the first coat of the beautiful colour of your choice - click here if you need help picking a colour.
Inspection and Filling
- We inspect walls and trim with a trouble light to search out imperfections.
- We will repair damage on walls with drywall mud.
- Trim will be touched up with wood putty and caulking.
- All filled areas are spot primed to ensure uniform sheen.
Second Coat
- Another coat of paint is applied to ensure a full finish and immaculate colour
Additional Coats
- A third coat may be needed to cover bright colors,
- or when clear-base colours are chosen, such as red, yellow and some deeper greens and blues.
Inspection
- The supervisor will inspect the entire job to ensure it has been done up to the Stanmark quality standards.
Customer walk around
- The supervisor/manager will do a final walk around with the client to ensure total satisfaction.
